Become Part of the Restoration
The Yamasee Nation is a living community connected by documented lineage, shared heritage, and commitment to restoration. Whether you're discovering your family history or supporting accurate Florida history, there's a place for you here.

The Yamasee Nation has always been more than bloodlines—it is a living community bound by shared heritage, mutual support, and collective commitment to restoration. Whether through documented lineage or dedicated partnership, all who join become part of this unbroken circle.
If you can document lineal descent from Yamasee ancestors through federal land patents, census records, vital statistics, or verified genealogical records, you may be eligible for tribal enrollment. Our research team will work with you to trace your family history and establish documented connection to verified Yamasee lineages.
What Enrollment Provides: Official recognition as a Yamasee descendant, access to cultural programs and community events, genealogical research support, connection to other enrolled families across Florida, and participation in restoration initiatives.
Application Fee: $150 standard | $300 expedited | Fee waiver available for financial hardship
Enrollment Process (4 Steps):
- Submit application form with known family information
- Provide supporting documentation (see required documents below)
- Research team reviews and verifies lineage (30-60 days)
- Receive enrollment decision and certificate if approved
Required Documents:

You don't need verified lineage to support the work. Ministry membership is open to anyone who believes accurate Florida history matters—educators, researchers, historians, community members, and allies who want to see documented truth replace colonial mythology.
What Membership Supports: Genealogical research for families, oral history preservation with elders, youth cultural education programs, digital archive maintenance, public education initiatives, and community gatherings across Florida.
